Dr Matthew Bothwell (an astronomer with Cambridge University) visited our Y5 children recently, to talk about all things space. We talked about Pluto’s declassification, his friend who drives Mars rovers and how Uranus was almost called George! He showed us some brilliant videos about how different planets feel gravity differently to how we do on Earth. Y5 asked some brilliant questions – 2 of which Dr Matt had never been asked before! It was a lovely ending to our Space unit.
