Moulton CEVC Primary School

Sports Funding

PE & Sport Premium

At Moulton CEVC Primary School, we believe that physical education, sport and an active lifestyle play a vital role in helping children to flourish. Through our broad PE curriculum, competitive sport and enriching physical activities, we aim to develop confident, resilient and healthy young people who enjoy being active and understand the importance of looking after their physical and mental wellbeing.

The PE & Sport Premium is additional government funding provided to primary schools to improve the quality of physical education, school sport and physical activity. This funding is ring-fenced and can only be used to enhance PE and sport provision for our pupils.

We use this funding to broaden sporting opportunities, develop staff expertise, improve resources and ensure that all children have access to a wide range of sporting experiences. We want every pupil, regardless of their ability or starting point, to develop the confidence, skills and enthusiasm to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Our approach reflects our Christian vision and commitment to helping every child flourish. We strive to remove barriers to participation, encourage teamwork and perseverance, celebrate individual achievement and ensure that every child has the opportunity to discover activities they enjoy and talents they may never have realised they had.
