Learning Support Assistant in Key Stage 1

Required from 20 April 2020

Salary: £17,711 pro rata, £9.18 per hour

Job Term:  18.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed term contract.  The hours will be 8.45 to 12.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.45 to 15.15 on Fridays.

The role will include a mixture of 1-1, small group and whole-class support. The successful candidate will have

  • A warm, nurturing and approachable personality
  • Knowledge and experience of the KS1 curriculum (including phonics)
  • Recent experience of working positively alongside children with a range of needs in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (positive relationships between adults is extremely important to us)
  • The desire to work flexibly as part of a team
  • An understanding of the need for strict confidentiality and regular safeguarding training

Handy Person

Required from 20 April 2020

Salary: £17,711 pro rata, £9.18 per hour

Job Term: Approximately 1 hour per week, (4 hours per month guaranteed) 38 weeks per year, permanent.  There will also be additional hours as required by the school throughout the year.  This will typically be in the school holidays. 

Closing date: 20 March 2020

We are looking for a handyperson to carry out small maintenance jobs in school and on the school site.  The work will be very varied ranging from furniture repairs to maintenance of our outside facilities.
