Message from Mrs Shipp
Thank you so much for all of your bottle donations - much appreciated. We are looking forward to the summer fair and to sports day. If you have not already read the information letter about sports day, please take a look - there is a lot of important safety and logistical information to consider.
I would like to say how proud I feel of Miss Spinks, who is now a published author! Miss Spinks enjoys writing in her spare time, and she has written her first novel. Well done to Miss Spinks!
I am also proud to be able to say that one of our Year 5 children nominated Miss Rutter to appear as 'Teacher Of The Month' of The Week, Junior magazine and she won! Thank you for the nomination, and well done to Miss Rutter!
As the end of term is approaching, we are seeing some very tired children. Some children have suffered with a horrid tummy bug in the last few weeks - keep an eye out for this. Children are saying they feel 'off' for a day or so, and then the sickness sets in.
On Monday 11th, the children will visit their new class, and spend time with their new teachers and TAs. Our Year 3 teacher will be Miss Murphy from September, whilst Mrs Harper is on maternity leave. Miss Murphy is in the final stages of obtaining her teaching qualification.
Another reminder... please do not park on the road, and please do not arrive early for pick-up at the end of the day. Some parents are regularly ignoring this request, and it is causing congestion.
We have just about finished writing the end-of-year reports. I have enjoyed reading them all, and we are looking forward to sharing them with you soon. More details to follow.
I hope that you have a lovely weekend!
