This Week in School
It's Christmas Jumper and Christmas Dinner week in school! We have had a great week, the snow went, to be replaced with ice, that made everything all white and pretty. The sky has also been a fabulous shade of blue and the sun has shone to brighten our days. During this pandemic, we have been grateful for your support and kindness to all our staff, thank you for being considerate and helpful. We hope, now that there seems to be a vaccination for the virus, life will return to some sort of normality. Please do contact us if we we can help with anything.
Please be careful when out & about this weekend
Can we please ask you to be extra vigilant when you are going out & about this weekend? We understand that families want to see their relatives and friends, could we please just ask that you think about our school and the local community before you visit lots of people in different households. The R rate in this area, is fairly low, we would really like to keep it that way, and keep us all safe. We don't want to appear "bossy", we do, however, ALL want to be able to see our loved ones in the New Year and beyond.

Go Ben Go..
We are very proud to have local runner Ben Blowes' children here in school. Ben is running 31 marathons, in the 31 days of December, to raise funds for Toms Trust. This is a local charity that helps young children with Brain Tumours. Please go to the FaceBook page, 31Stars to see how well Ben is doing, and donate if you are able to. Ben hopes to raise £31,000 to help 31 children live a better life, whilst dealing with the trauma of Cancer.

Stamps for Kidney Care UK
In the school lobby, after Christmas, there will be a box, for any used stamps you may have. These are collected and sent to the Kidney Care Uk charity to help raise funds for Kidney Care. If you have any from Christmas cards you receive, please send them in with your child for the box. A 1kg of used stamps generates £20 for the charity. Thank you

Spaces in Breakfast & After School Clubs
We have some spaces available in both our wrap around care clubs. If you need your children to come to either, please contact the office, to discuss your needs. We do, however, still need you to book them in, in day or week blocks as we are keeping the children in their class bubbles as much as possible. We still cannot accept ad hoc bookings, sorry. The table below gives the spaces on offer.

Tuesday 15th December Christmas Dress Up Day
We are looking forward to seeing lots of Nativity costumes next week. Please do not buy an outfit, one made from home is just as good, if not better! Hoping to see some Angels, a King or some Wise men and maybe a donkey!
