Well, our last week in school for the Autumn term is upon us! It has been a lovely 4 days. The children had a brilliant morning on Tuesday, all dressed up in their Nativity outfits. It was lovely for the office ladies to hear some Carols, they have really missed the songs and tunes of Christmas this year. Please do check out the Nativity videos from Tuesday, on the school website, the children all looked amazing. Thank you all for your continued support for the school and all the staff. It has been an unusual year, let's hope 2021 is much kinder to us all.
Please stay safe over Christmas
We would like to make sure that all of our children and parents return to us in January, so please do continue to be vigilant over the festive period. We are all hoping to see family & friends, we will still need our masks and hand sanitiser, both of which are now classed as "normal" attire! We have kept the children well and safe over the last few months, please keep yourselves safe too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
We have all been overwhelmed by your generosity and kindness, your good wishes and festive cheer! Thank you, from the bottom of all our hearts, for the many gifts and cards we have all received.
Year 5 Durability
Our Year 5 children have had lots of fun in their recent Science lesson, learning about Durability. They have been researching Variables and Hypothesis as well as making huge book towers, resting on a paper tube! Nail biting stuff! See the website under Classes, for more photos.
We wish him well....Go Ben Go..
So, Ben is still running his daily marathons, he's over half way now. Please do try to support him, he is doing an amazing thing for the children living with Cancer each day. Ben hopes to raise £31,000 to help 31 children living with brain tumours. The Facebook page 31stars has more details about the children that Ben will be helping, do have a look.
Stamps for Kidney Care UK
In the school lobby, after Christmas, there will be a box, for any used stamps you may have. These are collected and sent to the Kidney Care Uk charity to help raise funds for Kidney Care. If you have any from Christmas cards you receive, please send them in with your child for the box. A 1kg of used stamps generates £20 for the charity. Thank you
Moulton Cook Book
The PTA have done really well with the sales of the school cookbook, over £600 made from the sales so far. Personally, I made the Flapjack recipe from Mollie in reception, yesterday, it was delicious, if you have a copy, have a look! If you haven't got a copy, we have some left, they will still be available in January.
