We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas break with your children? We, here in school, have all agreed it was an unusual Christmas and, for most of us, it was a very quiet time. Hope you all kept safe & warm, enjoying the time with your household. In my house, we learnt how to play Othello all over again, and still, my daughter beat me every time!
Please stay safe
We understand how frustrating life is at the moment, we all miss our extended families, grandparents and siblings, but, please can we ask that you remain vigilant and safe whilst we all work together, through the pandemic? The Government will be providing more details about how we all proceed over the coming weeks, we will, of course, keep you up to date with any information we receive as soon as we have it.
For the children that are working from home, the teachers have all set up a Google Classroom for daily lessons. If your child has not yet logged onto the classroom, or you are having problems getting onto it, please do call or email us.
The start of the new term has not been what we were hoping for with the reintroduction of school class Bubbles and home learning. Please be assured that every member of staff in school is determined to make sure every child feels safe whilst here in school. For those working at home, the teachers are viewing their school work and checking in with them daily. This is a very difficult time for us all, please do contact us if you are struggling with any part of home learning, or indeed, any other school related problems you have.
2nd Choice School Dinners
Can we ask for those in school, if your child wants the 2nd option school dinner, please sign up in the usual way, on the website under the Parents tab. Mrs Beeton is in school each day, providing a hot meal for children who need one.
Theatre of Widdershins
Sadly, at this time, we cannot have the Theatre of Widdershins here in school, for their show, The Gingerbread Man & the Pot full of Magic. We can confirm, the show has been postponed, NOT cancelled. We will have the theatre group in school, as soon as we are able to.
We would be sad if the children had to miss out on this amazing show, so, fingers crossed, we will see the magical puppets again soon!
