This Week

It has been a cold week, but, seeing the children out, in their coats and hats, running around, has been joyful!. The extra PE lessons are working really well, the children are learning new games and skills with Mr Walker. The celebration video has been a hit with all families, I'm hoping Mrs Shipp continues with them, they're really good.

A Reminder: This Monday, 8th February, Years 1 & 2 have their extra PE lessons, please send your children into school, in their PE kit. The children will be outside if the weather permits, please make sure they have some warm layers on.

So, Year 1 will be in their kit for Monday AND Tuesday, Year 2 will be in their kit for Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday. Thank you

Please remember to sign your child up, for the vegetarian options for next week, on the website. Thank you

Stamps for Kidney Care UK

The box for the stamps will be taken away next Wednesday. If you have not yet dropped your used stamps in, please can you do so before the 10th February? Many thanks

Pancake Day 16th February

Pancake Day, this year, is during our February half term holiday. We hope the children enjoy the day, making and flipping their pancakes at home with you.

Extra(Extra) PE lessons on Mondays

The new extra PE sessions list is below. Please keep it by the front door, or on the fridge. Children will still need to come to school in their PE kits on their extra session days as well as their normal PE days. Thank you

RED PANDA FACTS

• Red pandas lick themselves clean, just like house cats do.

• Newborns hardly have any fur on the bottoms of their feet. The fur grows as they get older.

• Red pandas wrap their tails around themselves to keep warm in their chilly habitat.

• They eat about 200,000 bamboo leaves every day.
