Welcome back! We hope you have all had a restful half term and have enjoyed the milder weather. The sun has shone this week, making all the new spring flowers look even prettier than normal. The good weather has meant that some of, our PE lessons have been taken outside, which is lovely for the children. And, we have the extra good news that all our children will be back here in school, with us on Monday 8th March. We are so happy to hear this, we have missed them all. Have a good weekend, enjoy the good weather and take good care.
Mrs Shipp has once again produced an amazing celebration video, we are all so very proud of all our children here at Moulton. Please do have a look https://youtu.be/JSbf3J8bJ0o
Year 2 Science Experience
Our Year 2 children will be doing a "broad bean" experiment next week. If you don't have any seeds at home, we will have some available here, but not until Monday. Thank you
Miles For Moulton
Miles for Moulton is going to be our sponsored event for March 2021. We are hoping every family in school will walk/run/scooter/bike/hop/skip/jump a mile each day in March to raise money for the school’s PTA. March is the beginning of Spring and a great time to go out and about to get some fresh air.
There will be a link for the Just giving page from the PTA, they are just finalising the details on it at the moment. When it's available, we we let you all know.
World Book Day : Thursday 4th March 2021
This year, we are celebrating World Book day with the children in school, and online for those not here. There will be lots of activities for all the children to take part in. We have the school vouchers here for each of the children, which they will be given when they return to school.
Dates for your Diary
Thursday 4th March: World Book Day
Friday 19th March: Red Nose Day
Friday 26th March: Last day of Spring Term
Monday 12th April: First day of Summer Term
Friday 19th March is Red Nose Day
This year in school, we would like all the children to wear something Red on Red Nose Day, maybe their shoes or trousers, a T shirt or skirt, maybe even hair?? We would also like each child to bring a JOKE in, just one, so that every class can have their own class "Joke Book". Watch this space for more info..
Some of our parents have sent in details of some Easter activities in our area. Please see the 2 links below for more information.
