Wow... what an amazing start to our first full week back in school, with ALL our pupils! There was not a dry eye in the house, as parents & carers watched the welcome back video from Mrs Shipp. It was glorious to hear so many voices chattering around school, all friends saying "hello" to one another, to their teachers and TA's , it's been lovely!
Thank you all for your support and cooperation during this week. We know the changes in drop off and pick up have been a little confusing, many thanks for bearing with us and reading the many emails Mrs Shipp has sent out. This morning, all drop offs went perfectly, we are hoping the pick ups later do too! Have a fantastic weekend.
2nd Option School Dinners
Please don't forget to sign your child up for the 2nd Option on the school website, if they prefer the vegetarian options. We take the dinner details off the system on Monday mornings, please sign up by Sunday night. Thank you.
Many thanks for your support with the Parents' Evenings online. There were some hiccups, but nothing we couldn't handle, with your help! We hope you are pleased with your child's continuing progress.
Writer of the Week and Other Certificates
Friday 19th March is Red Nose Day
This year in school, we would like all the children to wear something Red on Red Nose Day, maybe their shoes or trousers, a T shirt or skirt, maybe even hair?? We would also like each child to bring a JOKE in, just one, so that every class can have their own class "Joke Book". Each child's joke needs to fit onto a piece of A5 paper, so please don't make it too long!! To donate, please log on to the school Justgiving page, www.justgiving.com/fundraising/RND2021
Miles For Moulton
Miles for Moulton is going to be our sponsored event for March 2021. We are hoping every family in school will walk/run/scooter/bike/hop/skip/jump a mile each day in March to raise money for the school’s PTA. March is the beginning of Spring and a great time to go out and about to get some fresh air.
There will be a link for the Just giving page from the PTA, they are just finalising the details on it at the moment. When it's available, we we let you all know.
After School Sports Clubs
Many thanks to those who have signed up for the after school clubs, the lists are filling up nicely. There are still spaces if your child decides he/she would like to join when they have settled back into school. If you would like your child to join their year's sports club, please email the school office to confirm.
Extra PE lessons on Mondays
Don't forget, the extra PE lessons each Monday. On 15th March, our Years 5 & 6 will need to be in their PE kit for the day.
