We hope you have all had a lovely Easter break and the children are all refreshed and ready to start the summer term. The weather this week has been unusual to say the least.. We've had snow & frost followed by the most amazingly blue sky days, which in turn, have given the most glorious sunsets. Flowers are opening, leaves are unfurling, all to show us their fabulous colours. The world is looking different each day. Please remember to keep yourselves and your families safe as the weather warms up, picnics beckon and we start to emerge from this pandemic.
Please remember: Years 5 & 6 have their extra PE session on Monday, they will need to be in their PE kit. Thank you
Well Done Mrs Gilmore
We are sure you would like to join us, in saying Very Well Done to Mrs Gilmore, she has recently passed her NPQH exam. This is a recognised qualification for those teachers who aspire to become brilliant Headteachers. She has proven that she has the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become an outstanding Head teacher. Mrs Shipp has no plans to let her go any time soon though!
A brilliant start to the summer term. Thank you all.
The School council children have been tasked with sourcing some recyclable materials to make a Pentecost banner for the Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Items of red, yellow and orange are needed to make "flames" for the banner, which will be displayed in the Cathedral from 23rd May.
Second Choice Dinners
PLEASE can we ask that you make sure your child's 2nd choice requests are on the website by each Sunday evening? The lists are printed early on Monday morning, ready for the kitchen to sort for each day. The kitchen ladies only do enough 2nd choices for those on the list, they do not have spares! Thank you
Yay... It's Tadpole Time
We must say a massive Thank you to Dylan & Noah, for the frogspawn. We are looking forward to watching them grow into little tadpoles and then into baby frogs. Our school pond will be full of life again very soon. Thank you boys!
Breakfast Club Parking
Can we please remind those that drop off for Breakfast club to be considerate when parking their cars? We have to fit quite a few cars in the staff car park and we are sometimes left with huge spaces that have only 1 car in them.
Miles For Moulton
Our PTA ladies are currently putting ideas together for some new fund raising ideas and activities here in school. We hope, fingers crossed, things will get back to a new form of normal, soon, so we can then have some dates to give you for future events. If you have any thoughts, please do get in touch. Alternatively, if you are continuing to walk, run, scoot or skip around our lovely village, the donating page is still open. The link is as follows: https://www.justgiving.com/moultonprimarypta Thank you
