This week in school

We have had a good week here in school. The weather has been lovely, lots of blue skies and sunshine. With sun in mind, if your child is prone to getting sunburnt, please do remember to put some cream on him/her before they come to school. On Tuesday, even in the slightly cloudier skies, one of our teachers had a lovely rosy neckline by the end of the day! She was not outside for very long either!

Please remember: Years 3 & 4 have their extra PE session on Monday, they will need to be in their PE kit. Thank you

Meet Twiglet

This gorgeous little puppy belongs to "Mr Widdershin". For those of you who have seen the amazing Widdershins show, Twiglet belongs to the gentleman that brings the show to life.

We are thrilled to know that we will be seeing The Elves & The Shoemaker show in January, something to look forward to! The performances are truly magical, we hope the children enjoy it.

Pentecost

Many thanks for the items that have been sent in to help create the Pentecost banner for our school. We do, however, still need more! Items of red, yellow, purple and orange are needed to make "flames" for the banner, which will be displayed in the Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds from 23rd May.

Second Choice Dinners

PLEASE can we ask that you make sure your child's 2nd choice requests are on the website by each Sunday evening? The lists are printed early on Monday morning, ready for the kitchen to sort for each day. The kitchen ladies only do enough 2nd choices for those on the list, they do not have spares! Thank you

PTA Update

Bags2School: We missed our usual collection, due to the pandemic, but we have been given a new date, which is Tuesday 22nd June. More details to follow soon.

Summer Fair: We would very much like your help and support in the organisation of the fair this year. The PTA ladies have been discussing food, drink and entertainment for the fair, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated too.
