Monday morning certainly started with a FLASH... the children were brilliant for the photographer. They lined up beautifully, posed well, and we hope, will look fabulous in the class photos! Look out for the proofs coming out soon.
Extra PE this monday will be for Years 5 & 6.
Parent Governor Vacancy
Many thanks to those who have applied for our Parent Governor vacancy here in school. We are delighted to say that we had 3 applicants. We will be sending home details of the applicants today, as we need your vote. Please look out for 2 pink pieces of paper in your child's book bag, one for each parent. The completed voting slip must be returned to school in a sealed envelope. All votes must be in by 9am on Monday 21st June. Thank you
Don't forget!! The Bag2School collection is on Tuesday 22nd June. Please do not bring your bag in before then, as we have nowhere to store them. Hopefully, you will have been having a lovely sort out and have lots of items for the collection!
Our Reception team have asked for any spare clean girls knickers you may have. Ages 3/4 or 4/5 would be great. Thank you
Hats, Drinks & Water Bottles
Please remember, in this lovely warm, sometimes hot, weather, the children can get dehydrated very quickly. Please make sure they have their water bottle, sun hat and have had sun cream applied before they leave home, every day.
Please try and pay for your child's dinners online, in advance. The dinner debt letters are sent out each week, to give you details of how much you might owe, please do look out for these in your child's book bag. We are still favouring the online method of payment, the link below will take you straight to the SCC website:
Can we remind parents of years 3,4,5 & 6 that they need to reduce their speed whilst entering and leaving the drop-off zone? Lots of children are around in the morning and at pickup time, they are not always aware that the cars are moving around them.
Masks on school premises
Until we have been updated by the Government, we would request that all parents/cares and visitors to school continue to wear a face covering. Hopefully, the rules will be eased soon, but, we must adhere to the DFE guidelines until we are updated. Thank you
Our Year 5 children will be having their BikeAbility training next week in school. Please make sure, your child's bicycle is roadworthy, a list of the items you need to check, was sent out earlier this week. All bicycles need to be in school for the 4 days Monday to Thursday. Thank you

The lists are printed early on Monday morning, ready for the kitchen to sort for each day. The kitchen ladies only do enough 2nd choices for those on the list, they do not have spares! Thank you
The children have been working hard in school, take a peek to see what they've been up to...
