We are delighted to tell you that we have three new members of staff:
Mrs Grosvenor has joined the Year 3 team as a TA, and she will move to Year 4 in September; Miss Fletcher will join the Reception team in September as a TA; and Mrs Kaur will join the Year 6 team in September. Don’t worry, none of our other fabulous TAs have left – our new TAs are additional members to the team. They are all lovely, and we are looking forward to working with them.
Reception Parent's Evenings
The Reception parents evening meetings went very well. Mrs Bedford and Mrs Offley met with the parents after school and explained what their children had been doing and how they had progressed throughout this year. Our thanks go to the parents.
Transition time is once again upon us! Next week the children will all be going in to their new classes for the first time. We will also be welcoming our new September Reception children into school for the transition sessions. We hope all the children enjoy the time in their new classroom and meeting their new class teacher.
Raffle Prizes for PTA
Many thanks to those who have already sent in a raffle prize in their child's class colour. The boxes for any class colour donations, are now in the school lobby. Donations need to be in by Wednesday 7th July, please.
Hats, Drinks & Water Bottles
Please remember, in this lovely warm, sometimes hot, weather, the children can get dehydrated very quickly. Please make sure they have their water bottle, sun hat and have had sun cream applied before they leave home, every day.
Our Year 6 class need some cardboard cereal boxes on Tuesday 13th July. If you find you are coming to the end of your cereal, please send the box in with your child. Thank you.
The PTA team have been gifted some lovely prizes for the summer raffle. Tickets and further details have been sent out today. The draw will take place on Thursday 15th July.
The online payment system has been unavailable this week. The IT people have assured us that they are working on the problems and will get it fixed as soon as possible. Please bear with us, we will not let your child starve just because they might owe for a dinner, or 2. Please do keep trying, thank you
The need to wear a face covering in and on school premises has now been extended until the end of this school year. Thank you

Year 5 & 6 Performance: Porridge
We are waiting for more details about a possible "filming" of the Year 5 & 6 performance of Porridge. Sadly, as you know, we are unable to have parents in to watch the performance here in school. Please bear with us.
Second Choice Dinners
PLEASE can we ask that you make sure your child's 2nd choice requests are on the website by each Sunday evening? The lists are printed early on Monday morning, ready for the kitchen to sort for each day. The kitchen ladies only do enough 2nd choices for those on the list, they do not have spares! Thank you
