2 school trips out this week, both very successful. It was lovely seeing the children in Year 2 go off to the Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday. And, the Year 4 children went off to West Stow yesterday. Both days were dry and quite sunny. The photos of the trips are on the school website, have a look!
Individual & Sibling Photographs: The missed ones!
If your child was away when the initial photos were taken, the company are coming back again next Tuesday 19th October to take photos of those who missed out. They will take any missed sibling photos too. If you want to order some photos, the last day to bring the proofs back into school is Tuesday 2nd November. You also have the facility to order photos online.
Nasal Flu Vaccines
Many thanks to those of you who have returned the orange form for the vaccines here in school on the 4th November. If you have not yet sent your form in, please make sure it gets to the school office by Wednesday next week. The nursing team need the forms before half-term. Thank you
Christmas Cards for the PTA
The children have been designing their own Christmas cards here in school. Their artwork is coming home with them all today. If you would like to order some cards, please do so using the details on the back of the artwork. AND, if you have ordered, PLEASE return the artwork back to us, by Thursday 21st October at the latest. We have to send the original artwork off to the company, for the cards and other bits to be made. Thank you
Well done Jac
One of our pupils has been competing in this year's Horse of the Year Show, and has done amazingly well. Jac in Year 4 competed against 15 other top competitors in his age group. He came tenth, which is an amazing achievement.

Rule Breaker Day
Next Thursday, is a PTA Non Uniform Day! Please donate using the link below, for your child to wear their own clothes for the last day of this first term. Please make sure their outfit is suitable for a full day in school. Thank you
Are you looking for a part-time job that will fit around your children's schooling hours? If so, Vertas are seeking part-time relief Food Service Assistants.
You would be required to work term time only, travelling to various schools in this area. Mileage will be paid for. Hourly rate is £8.91.
Main responsibilities include food preparation under supervision of head of kitchen, serving meals and setting up/clearing dining halls. There will also be some washing up and general cleaning in the kitchen. If you are interested, please contact our head of kitchen, Angie on 01638 750236 Option 2.
Tuck: Cookies for Sale
On Wednesday and Thursday next week, at morning break, there will be various types of Cookie for sale from the kitchen. All cookies will be 50p each.
Year 6 Mini Medics
On Wednesday 17th November, our Year 6 children will be training to be a "mini medic". They will be learning about CPR, choking, the recovery position and various other basic first aid requirements. We hope they have an informative afternoon.

Our fabulous PTA fund-raising cake sales are starting again, and our Year 4 parents are the first lucky ones to provide some yummy treats! Cakes & biscuits will be on sale after school on Thursday 4th November. See you there!!

Please do remember to sign your child up for the 2nd choice, if required, via the website. You must sign up by each Sunday evening, the kitchen ladies do not have any extra 2nd choice meals once the dinners have been given out. Thank you

Our lucky Year 3 children have a fabulous visitor on the 18th November, the Theatre of Widdershins is coming into school! They will spend the morning watching a brilliant Stone Age performance, followed by an afternoon of crafting "stone age style"
