We have had an incredible start to the term, the children have been amazing! The week off has obviously re-charged their batteries, they are extra keen and willing to learn in class.
The weather has also been glorious, beautiful blue skies with some lovely sunshine. It is, however, getting colder, so please do remember your child's coat and hat/gloves each day.
Sports Clubs After School
Please remember, the Year 5 & 6children will be having their after school Sports Club each THURSDAY from now on. The Year 1 children will be having their Sports Club each FRIDAY. If your Year 1 child would like to join the club, please call the school office to add his/her name to the list.
For all the after school sports clubs, the children need to come to school in their PE kit. As the weather gets cooler, please ensure your child has warm joggers and a fleece for the clubs.
Year 6 At Duxford
Our Year 6 children had an amazing day at Duxford yesterday. They took time to look at the Aviation planes and tanks. They discovered facts about the Battle of Britain and also learnt more about the Development of Aviation throughout the years. Take a look at the photos on the website.
The photographer came back to take the photo's of those who were absent on the 5th October. If your child has brought a proof home this week, any orders and payments must be back in school by Tuesday 16th November please.

Today, at lunchtime, Mrs Shipp and some year 4, 5 & 6 children had a brilliant Sing A Long in the dining hall. The children were spread out around the room, they sang with all their might and had a jolly good time! We hope, this will become a regular fixture in school, as singing is so very good for raising spirits and can be very enjoyable. Well done to all who took part!
