Coding in Year 5

One of our school parents came into year 5 for the day, to help the children do some coding.  They coded a microbit.  They all had to design a pet that they then attached a microbit to.  It was an interesting day as they coded it to do lots of different things, such as have a sad face if it hears a clap. Tell us that it is hungry, then say thank you if we feed it! The children had a great day.
