Year 5 at the Academy

This morning, Year 5 went to Newmarket Academy to take part in two science sessions. The lessons focused on observing different chemical reactions, filtering solutions, sieving mixtures and evaporating copper sulphate with a Bunsen burner! It tied in brilliantly with the science we are doing at the moment. The children were beautifully behaved, gave lots of ideas during discussions and used the equipment sensibly and safely.
