Year 5 Death Masks

As is tradition when studying the Ancient Egyptians, we had a go at making Tutankhamun-style death masks. The children listened to instructions, drew and cut very carefully, bent masking tape to their will and painted meticulously. The masks look amazing – they’re definitely the best masks we’ve ever made! We even wore them into celebration assembly this morning to show them off to the school.

The Mummy challenge (where they get all wrapped up in toilet roll) is coming! Watch this space!
