The Pupil Premium is additional government funding provided to schools to help improve outcomes for pupils who may face barriers to learning. Children may be eligible if they are entitled to benefits-related free school meals, have been eligible for free school meals within the last six years, are looked after (foster care or special guardianship, for example) or previously looked after, or have a parent serving in the armed forces.

At Moulton CEVC, we carefully consider the needs of each eligible child and use this funding to provide the support, opportunities and experiences that will have the greatest impact. This includes high-quality teaching, targeted academic support, pastoral care, wellbeing provision, enrichment opportunities, educational visits, resources or other bespoke support designed to help children succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate fully in school life, develop confidence, broaden their horizons and discover their unique strengths and talents. Our aim is not simply to remove barriers, but to ensure that every child feels included, valued and able to flourish within our school community.
