On Monday, Dr Matthew Bothwell, an astronomer with Cambridge University, came to visit Y5 to talk about space. He was so impressed with the questions the children asked and their knowledge of the solar system. We learnt lots of interesting things about galaxies colliding, the formation of the Moon and even had the chance to hold a meteorite that fell to Earth 20,000 years ago!

What a lovely way to finish off our space topic!
