The Reception class had a visit from the fire and rescue department today.

We tried on a fire helmet, counted to see how fast a firefighter could put on his kit. Learnt about the different jobs firefighters do. Then we went out to the fire truck. A fire woman showed us the truck. We then got to sit in it and also to spray water with the hose. We had to put up our arms and shout 'water on'
