Our year 6 class went to the academy in Newmarket, to enjoy a morning of PE & Art.  They had a PE session with the sports leaders, learning about basketball.  They took part in some drills and had a short match.  They also learnt about golf, gaining an insight into putting and chipping. 

Their art session involved a recreation of Monet's Lily Pond, using a paper palet and their fingers!!  They used various techniques. The children should have only used 2 fingers to paint with!!
