Our year 4 children had an informative day at the Anglo-Saxon site of West Stow recently.  The site was occupied by an early Anglo-Saxon village from AD420-650.  They looked at the farmers' houses, crafting huts and other burial sites in and around the area.  They had a good day, enjoying the lovely late autumn sunshine and blue skies.
