On Monday, Y5 were invited to Newmarket Academy to do some Science and English. In Science, they were given the opportunity to experiment why bath bombs fizz by completing 2 different experiments using different strengths of acid and different carbonates. The children were brilliant at following the methodologies for the experiments and using all the equipment safely. 

In English, we worked on our oracy by having a discussion about what the most important characteristic is in informing our identity. 

The Y5 team were very proud of how the children behaved and engaged during their sessions at the Academy. Well done, Year 5.
