Special Educational Needs & Disability
We believe that every child is unique, valued and has the potential to flourish. We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where every pupil feels safe, respected and supported to achieve their very best. We take time to understand each child as an individual, recognising their strengths, interests and aspirations, as well as the areas where they may need additional support. By working closely with families and external professionals, we ensure that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the personalised support they need to thrive both academically and personally.
Our commitment to inclusion extends far beyond the classroom. We believe every child should have the opportunity to enjoy, contribute to and succeed in every aspect of school life. We carefully monitor the engagement of pupils with SEND in clubs, educational visits, performances, pupil leadership roles, sporting events and other enrichment opportunities. This enables us to identify and remove any barriers that may prevent a child from taking part, providing the encouragement, adjustments and support needed to help them participate with confidence. We celebrate every success, however big or small, because we know that progress looks different for every child. Our aim is for all pupils to leave Moulton CEVC with confidence, resilience, a love of learning and the belief that they can make a positive contribution to the world around them.
