School Development Plan

School Development Plan 2026–2027

At Moulton CEVC Primary School, we are proud of the high-quality education, care and opportunities that we provide for our children. However, we firmly believe that outstanding schools never stand still. Guided by our Christian vision and our commitment to helping every child flourish, we continually reflect on our practice, celebrate our successes and identify ways in which we can become even better.

Our School Development Plan sets out our key priorities for the academic year. It provides a clear framework for school improvement, ensuring that we continue to strengthen our provision, respond to the needs of our pupils and families, and provide the very best education and experiences for every child.

Our priorities are informed by a wide range of evidence, including:

  • Our ongoing self-evaluation (SEF)
  • The views of pupils, parents, carers, staff and governors
  • Analysis of pupil achievement, attendance and wellbeing
  • Quality assurance activities, including lesson visits, monitoring and professional dialogue
  • National and local priorities, educational research and developments
  • External reviews and validation, including Ofsted, SIAMS and Local Authority support where appropriate

Our approach to school improvement is underpinned by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) Implementation Guidance, ensuring that changes are carefully planned, grounded in evidence, introduced thoughtfully and evaluated for their impact. This enables us to build on what works well, make sustainable improvements and ensure that every development has a positive impact on the children we serve.

School improvement is a continuous journey rather than a destination. As a reflective learning community, we are committed to continually developing our practice, removing barriers to success and providing even greater opportunities for every child to learn, flourish and achieve their full potential.
