Safeguarding
At Moulton CEVC Primary School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by our Christian vision, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself" (Matthew 22:39), we are committed to ensuring that every child is known, valued, protected and supported to flourish.
We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy, respected and cared for. Creating this environment is the responsibility of every adult in our school community. We are committed to inspiring, challenging and safeguarding our pupils so that they feel secure, develop confidence and are able to achieve their full potential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We maintain a strong culture of vigilance, where staff, governors and volunteers are trained to recognise concerns, respond appropriately and work in partnership with families and external agencies to ensure that children receive the right support at the right time. We are committed to continually reviewing and strengthening our safeguarding practices so that every child receives the care and protection they deserve.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Deborah Shipp (Headteacher).
Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Nuala Gilmore (Deputy Headteacher).
Our Safeguarding Governor is Ali Kirkman.
